Review:
Composer Kevin McChesney has done a fine job writing this vivacious work for 2, 3, 4 or 5 octaves of bells - quite a feat! It earns its level 5 rating due to a bright, quick tempo and meter changes from simple to duple and back again. The rhythms are energetic and free-spirited like running through grass barefooted. The middle section slows a little bit and lets the ringers catch their breath before they're off again chasing butterflies and laughter.
