Review:
The energetic march from Georges Bizet's CARMEN is fully scored by Kevin McChesney. Playable by 3, 4, 5 or 6-octaves (with special symbols for each octave) the music is fully scored with several special techniques to add spice and bounce. An optional cymbal part is included in the score along side the bell part. The challenge is in the tempo. The chordal texture and occasional accidentals are otherwise not too difficult to handle for a level III choir.
