Review:
The 11th verse of Psalms 30 is the focal point of this original composition (winner of AGEHR Area II contest) and it reads: You have turned my mourning into dancing... An expressive, calm setting greets the listener by way of sustained melody and running, eighth-note accompaniment, LV technique, mallet on suspended bells, chimes and vibrato and echo technique. The energy picks up the last third of the work as the texture thickens and the tempo expands.
