The composer states: this piece hopefully recalls to each of us at least one memory or two of our first public performance. This work was written for the AGEHR Area XII Marching Handbell Choir leading the 1994 Tournament of Roses Parade. Detailed notes are given by the composer as to how he envisions the piece to being performed. He ends his comments with. "The piece should be thoroughly fun but never still, because the first recital is indeed a very serious affair."
