Review:
Originally written for a handbell festival conference, this arrangement of the hymn tune, THAXTED, moves through stately chordal, and flowing eighth-note passages along with a malleted bass line and the echo technique. Another nice feature is that the bell score and brass/percussion score is all in one folio. Brass ensemble consists of 2 trumpets, french horn, trombone, Tuba or 2nd trombone and Timpani.
