Review:
A sixteen-measure, chromatic introduction generates excitement before leading into a fully-scored rendition of the beloved hymn-tune, NICAEA by John B. Dykes. The second section slows down a bit and adds more flowing, eighth-note accompaniment. Tempo primo returns and continues through the end of the work Melody is doubled in the 5th octave for the majority of the work.
