The traditional English melody NOEL is the basis of this anthem with optional 2-octave bell accompaniment. In fact, handbells alone accompany the opening unison melody sung by the choir. Later the organ and C instruments joins in and all proceed to a full ending. A separate score is available for bells and C instrument.
