Review:
This Sinfonia set for handbell quartet comes from J.S. Bach's Cantata 156, "Ich steh' mit einem Fuss im Grabe," BG XXXII. Originally written for alto, tenor and bass soloists, choir, oboe, stings and continuo. It is a popular work in the oboe repertoire. This arrangement aims to retain as much of the character of the original as possible. Other performance notes are given.
