The text of the lovely Austrian carol is sung over a flowing handbell accompaniment in this arrangement. Later, a gently syncopated texture support the text, "Love, love, love, God's love has sent us a child". This is followed by a tender section with the vocal solo almost whispering, "Sleep, sleep, sleep. Let the child in the manger sleep". 48 measures in length.
