Review:
Three octaves of optional hand chimes are scored in a passage of lower register melody in this setting of I Himmelen, I Himmelen. They also appear in the opening melody with a ring-ring touch accompaniment. The gentle mood of the work is also conveyed through use of the LV technique on alternating, eighth-note patterns. A final phrase with chimes on melody closes out the work.
