Review:
If you haven't encountered the "pluck lift" technique, you'll find it in this setting of the hymn tune EVAN. Two octaves of chimes are required as the beginning 12 measures are rendered on a chime tree. Later the pluck lift effect is combined with the mart lift technique in the accompaniment. The textures build until the end tapers off in echo-like lines and fades.
