Almighty King, The

Review:      "Come Thou Almighty King" by Felice de Giardini is the basis of this bright setting. Fanfare introduction gives way to a strong, chordal statement of the melody. Later, a slower passage adds LV technique in eighth-note accompaniment to the melody in the upper registers. Shakes on sustained chords lead to a ring touch ending. Arranged in G Major and C Major, this work is 75 measures.
