Review:
Imagine taking a stroll around a lake shore in the evening and seeing a beautiful, delicate sunset, a flurry of birds flitting from tree to tree, or a group of geese or ducks leaving fluid trails in the water. If you can imagine this, then you have a feel for the start of this original work commissioned by Bells of the Lakes handbell choir. Sixteenth notes in 6/8 time in espressivo tempo bear the biggest responsibility for pulling off this mood. Scripture basis is Luke 8:22-25, when Jesus calmed the storm. Measures total 103.
