Review:
The hymn tunes SAGINA and BEECHER are arranged for 3-5 octaves of handbells by Cynthia Dobrinski. A strong beginning section gives way to a slower, gentle section with the bass bells playing the melody in octaves and a shimmering, upper-treble accompaniment. The third section features shakes, while the fourth section is freer. Bold chords in the final section lead to a triple forte to end the piece. This medley of 145 measures is scored in F Major.
