Review:
Twelve optional handchimes, ranging from F5 to C7, add interest to
Gosterwood and
CWM Rhondda, the hymn tunes on which this arrangement are based. The fanfare introduction features the sparkle of shakes and big chords. These tunes are presented with chordal accompaniment in both quarter and eighth notes, some with mallets on tabled bells. A strong, triumphant ending complements the opening material. Measures total 65.
