Review:
Pair your 3 to 6-octaves of bells with the optional 3 to 5-octaves of handchimes scored in this original composition for the best effect of contrasts. A joyful 6/8 section calls for mart-lifts, and lots of staccato technique, which is then contrasted with an Andante con expressivo section in 3/4 that highlights the LV technique in gentle, eighth-note accompaniment as well as a passage of echo effect. A third section returns to the beginning mood and drives the listeners to the final chord in measures one hundred and fifty-five.
