Review:
Pull out the kitchen sink, 'coz you're going to need it in this big, bold, and festive trascription of Rimsky-Korsakov's original work from "Mlada". Piano in four hands opens the "Allegro Maestoso" section and builds the energy, adding the brass section on its way to include the bells in measure 12. Later, the timpani and optional 3, 4 or 5 octaves of chimes enter the fray. A grand work! Brass ensemble consists of Horn in F, Trumpet in C, Trumpet 1, 2 & 3 in Bb, Tuba, Trombone, Timpani, Snare Drum and Percussion (Triangles, Tambourine, Cymbals, Bass Drum).
