Review:
Better to say, "on your mark, get set, go" than to give a downbeat for this fast-paced, energetic original composition from Kevin McChesney! Mallets using pulsing eighth notes in 3/4 time "primes the pump" and are soon joined by layers of sound and melody. Mallet rolls add their magic in a later passage before the "no holes barred" ending in measure 94.
