Written for a festival conference, this setting of Camille Saint-Saens Symphony No. 3 includes bells, organ, brass and percussion and should work up quickly. A section of chords in both clefs calls for mart-lifts and adds to the dramatic flare of the work. 62 measures in length.

An immediate mood is set as this somber spiritual begins with wind chime and random ringing. The saxophone enters on the melody plaintively and ad libbing.

Commissioned in memory of 21 lives lost on board the TWA flight 800 in July of 1996, this beloved Philip Bliss hymn tune, VILLE DU HAVRE, has a score for optional 3 octaves of chimes, violin or flute. On July 21, 1996 an angle cloud appeared above the bereaved community along with 21 smaller clouds and two rainbows.

Dedicated to the victims of the shooting at Columbine High School and other acts of senseless violence, this original composition's mood is based upon the 13th-century prayer of St. Francis of Assisi.

This addition to the best-selling Ring a-Story Series tells the story of Moses and the 10 Commandments through the eyes of Moses' staff, that is, his walking staff, Rod. Rod (or Rhoda), along with the bell choir, gives a humorous account of Moses' own struggle with keeping God's rules and reminds us that God will help us keep his commands.

This setting for 3-5 octaves and optional Bb2, handchimes (2 octaves) and clarinet or violin is based on Nurit Hirsh's original work. The Jewish flavor is enhanced through use of mallets on tabled bells in the accompaniment,. The middle section is calm and peaceful, but soon returns to the opening material. Inspiration for this original composition comes from Philippians 4:6-7 (Don't worry, but pray and peace will come - loosely paraphrased!) Sections of peaceful "sound" melody alternate with more chordal sections, dotted-rhythm passages, and harmonic changes. 101 measures in length.

J.S. Bach's "Sheep May Safely Graze," and William Bradbury's "Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Us" are combined in this pastoral setting. Ringers have many opportunities to learn expressive ringing, and how to control dynamics while distinguishing the melody from the somewhat delicate accompaniment. Mallets on suspended bells provide an effective ending in measure 65.

Arranger Doug Wagner combines the popular praise chorus "Seek Ye First" and Johann Pachelbel's famous canon in this easy-to-prepare anthem with a separate score for 3,4 or 5 octaves of bells.

The arranger writes: "At times it has been difficult to find arrangements for small ensembles which are not only interesting, but highly portable, sufficiently challenging for all ringers and which allow flexibility in bell assignments.
