Review:
"Spring Sea" is part of the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers
Janus Series for special, more complex, or unique handbell literature. The 4-6 octaves of handbells and 4 octaves of handchimes and flute present this Japanese folk-like song. The bells open up with a mart-lift motif that is intended to represent the rolling of sea waves. The sections are marked Adagio, Andante, Brillante, Con anima and Andante and each represents the different 'moods' of the Spring Sea.
