Review:      The "Janus" Series from AGEHR publishing is for advanced ensembles. This original composition was commissioned in memory of a loved one and is based on Psalm 37:37. The music, like life, is filled with varying fabric and moods. Flute and Clarinet are required for the piece and begin the work by simply stating the melody in two-parts. (A handchime score for 3-octaves is included and may be substituted for the woodwind score). The bells join and move the music along through the textures until it returns to a soft, tender ending.
