This engaging original composition was commissioned in honor of Fred Gramann, for his 30 years of music ministry at the American Church in Paris. The piece opens with a rhythmic "fuguing tune" in a minor key, which appears in a variety of ways throughout the work. The sections are labeled "Lightly," "Slowly, with feeling," then concluding with a joyful "Allegretto," with a rhythmic malleted bass part. Techniques include LV, malleted bells on the table and shaking.
 
Rockin Around the Christmas Tree:  Marks, Johnny,Morris, Hart,FM
American songwriter Johnny Marks is famous for writing more than 90 songs – many being Christmas favorites. This includes "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer", "A Holly Jolly Christmas" "and Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree", among others. Hart has used his gift of adding variations and fabulous rhythmic touches to create an irresistible arrangement of this tune!
